The Gateway to Positive Living

for adults of all ages with mental health conditions and learning disabilities and/or cognitive impairments

The Home is set in quiet residential location in the London Borough of Redbridge with easy access to transport links, local high street, retail and leisure facilities, communal parks, hospitals, schools and the countryside walks, all these accessible within a few minutes of walking distance enabling our service users to be part of the local community and support their smooth transition to reintegration.

Our dedicated staff takes non-judgemental approach, allowing people to be themselves and we support positive risk taking and empowering people to explore their possibilities and limitations. This helps to produce our successful track record in reducing anger and challenging behaviour. It is beneficial for people experiencing symptoms associated with schizophrenia and severe mood disorders, such as bipolar, as well as those who previously struggled with drug and alcohol misuse.

OUR QUALITY COMMITMENT

ROXY AVENUE aims to provide the people in its care with secure, relaxed and homely environment in which their care, wellbeing and comfort are of prime importance and where their mental health needs can be met with dignity.

OUR CARE PHILOSOPHY

With years of experience, the care teams at GOLDEN NEST CAREHOMES pride themselves on offering high quality personal care for the adults with a person-centred approach that focuses on seeing a person rather than their symptoms.

PERSON CENTERED CARE

In order to respect our core values, a highly personalised person-centred care planning process is essential. We believe we care for individuals with unique personalities, core beliefs and life experiences, who just happen to have conditions that they need our care and support for. Our care plans are structured to focus on what our people can do, rather than what they can’t and how we can best structure our care to promote and encourage our staff to effectively address that.

We take referrals from throughout the UK. We can accept referrals from those who cannot finance their care needs privately, or those who receive funding from their local authorities.
